Gold filled. This process is approximately 10 times more durable than gold plating. A base metal is used then a thick layer of gold applied which is far more durable but less expensive than solid gold.
The earrings currently available have standard hooks rather than the circular hoop that is shown in this photograph although they can be ordered with the hoop if preferred.
